Lent is a season that invites us to slow down, to hear and speak the truth. It is a season where we are called to listen more closely to God’s voice, to examine our lives, and to turn away from those things hinder our walk with God. The title of the series is “Returning to the Heart of God” and each Sunday we will join Jesus on the road to Jerusalem as he journeys to the cross and the empty tomb.
This Sunday we will join Jesus as he wrestles with Satan and the temptations the evil one brings. The title of the message is, “Into the Wilderness” and our scripture focus will be on Luke 4:1-13. Together we will explore how our wilderness seasons shape our faith, expose what we truly rely on each day, and invite us to trust God more deeply. Lent is not about perfection; it is about returning to the heart of God. I invite you to come and walk along the road with me as we move from ashes toward hope.
