God’s MVP’s
We are in the second week of our stewardship sermon series,” Growing in Grace, Giving in Love.” This Sunday we will be focusing our attention on how God’s grace leads us to becoming His MVP’s. When I read and study God’s Word, I come across some very dynamic characters whom God used in a very powerful way. When I look at the Church today, I see very dynamic people who are walking with Jesus and in turn, God is having a very powerful witness through their lives.
When I make these observations, I sometimes have this little voice that speaks and seeks to convince me that I am not important to God as I am not one of those dynamic people that are making a powerful impact on society. So, I am left wondering, what makes us MVPs in God’s Kingdom? This Sunday in worship we will learn about what makes us the most valuable people when it comes to having an impact on our world through serving. You may just be surprised by the answer. Our scripture focus will be on I Corinthians 1:18-19; 24-31.
I look forward to being with you in worship this Sunday and I am sure there is someone out there that could use an invitation to come and worship with us.
