“Growing in Grace, Giving in Love”

During the month of October, we will  sharpen our focus on the theme, “Growing in Grace, Giving in Love.” The theme reminds us that stewardship is not just about finances—it’s about our spiritual growth in Christ. Together, we are called to grow in the grace of Christ, and to express our love for God and one another through faithful generosity.

Growing in Grace - As we grow spiritually, we discover that every gift we enjoy comes to us from God’s heart of love. This is where our understanding of stewardship begins and that is with gratitude to God for all the blessings He pours out on us.

Giving in Love – Our giving is an act of worship and a wonderful response to God’s love. Through our financial giving we join in mission to share the gospel and to live a life of service in the world.

“Growing in Grace”

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever!” (II Peter 3:18)

Growth is a natural expectation of life. A seed grows into a plant, a child into an adult, and faith is meant to grow deeper and stronger over time. Peter’s words remind us that the Christan life is not static---- we are called to grow in grace.

In this sermon we explore what it means to grow in grace and the signs to look for when this growth is taking place in our lives.
