In the post-Easter celebration, we continue our journey with Jesus after the resurrection. In my last Sunday sermon we were with Him as He appeared to the disciples who were hiding behind locked doors as they were overwhelmed with fear of the Jewish leaders.

In this sermon we will be with our Savior in another powerful post-Easter encounter as He restores Peter after he denied being one of Jesus’s followers and on another occasion, denying he even knew Jesus. We focus on John 21:15-19 and the beautiful reminder that comes from this passage that God’s grace gives us second chances. He meets us in our brokenness, restores us with love, offers us a life- changing decision that can transform failure into purpose and love into action, and then sends us out with a life changing purpose.
